1. Sun Safety The school is conscious of the importance of protecting pupils from skin damage that can be caused by ultra violet rays in sunlight. We would therefore encourage pupils to wear sun cream to protect their skin. Unfortunately we are not able to apply sun cream to each child so they need to come to school with sun cream already on their face, legs and arms. Alternatively they can bring sun cream to apply themselves. This should be clearly labelled with the child’s name and class.. 01254 54851 Summer Fayre Unfortunately, this years Summer Fayre will have to be postponed until September. This is due to Mosque exams that are taking place, Children’s University Graduation and the Whalley Range Mela in July. We shall inform you of the date as soon as possible. If you would however like to book a stall or would like to volunteer on the day, please speak to Miss O’Neill. Please inform the school office of any changes to your contact details. It is very important for school to have your correct details so that you can be contacted in case of an emergency. With the warmer weather, please send your child to school with a water bottle with their name on it Children’s University Graduation Day on Saturday 6th July. Letters to be sent out soon. Friday 7th June 2013Newsletter Breakfast Club Tuesday Treat next week will be ‘Crumpets and Scotch Pancakes’. Breakfast club is £1 and everyone is welcome. If you have not done so already, please ensure your child’s summer PE kit is in school – Thank you. Fantastic Friday Children who don’t usually have a school dinner have the option to have one on Fridays. Fantastic Friday menu for Friday 14th June 2013 is: Spicy Pizza with Chips Jacket potato Beans Milk and water Dessert – Iced Fruit Smoothie Please ensure there is consistency in your child’s lunch during the rest of the week.
