  1. special education resources SPECIAL EDUCATION substitute plans template • 9 page Template includes • Program information • Staff information • Student information • Program management • BIP management • “What’s happening” • Lesson Planning • Attachments • Notes fully editable! the teacher dress code

  2. how I use these plans! TIPS + TRICKS • Putting my subplan template together is one of the tasks I do before the school year starts. Even if I don’t have all the information, I can create a Skelton plan of the information. • For the most part, these subplan pages stay the same and require very little maintenance during the school year: • Contact information • About our program • Our staff • Our students • Classroom rules • Behavior management • Room ____ during the day • Behavior Intervention Plan page • Lesson plan – time + location and learning groups. The only time I make changes is if a new student and/or staff member qualifies, moves, or I change my own personal policy. • When I’m planning an absence or getting ready for a sick day, I update: • What’s happening during the week (check my calendar + school calendar) • Lesson plans + directions (include attachments) • Putting in the time in the beginning of the school year will make getting ready for a substitute so much easier. I started using this template in the middle of the 2018-2019 school year and it relieved SO MUCH stress when working on my subplans. • Make any adjustments to fit your program. Every single special education set up is different– make this template work for you!
