  5. Stop Drop Roll If your clothes are on fire, don’t be scared Just do what the Cookie Monster says.

  6. How do you get outside? Follow the map until you get outside Go to the other side of the street Stay calm and quiet, but get out fast

  7. Stay Back Never go back into a building until an adult tells you it is ok.

  9. Go to the Hallway Follow your teacher to your part of the hallway Stay calm and quiet so you can hear what your teacher says

  10. Positions Get into the position that is most comfortable to you Head against wall Or Head between your knees Make sure you cover your head

  11. Stay away from class and doors Flying glass can cut you and doors can swing open and injure you. Make sure you are sitting far away from these things.

  12. Swimming Safety

  13. Never Swim Alone Always make sure you have an adult watching you at all times. Try to have a buddy swim with you so you aren’t alone.

  14. Make sure you have the right safety equipment on Safety Equipment Some examples are Waist Ring Arm Floaters

  15. Don’t hold others under water Never hold anyone underwater even if you are just playing around You can make them choke on water or even injure them really bad

  16. Electrical Safety

  17. Electricity and Water Never plug something in that is wet or near water. This will shock you and it will be very painful and dangerous. If a cord is wet tell an adult, but do not touch it

  18. DO NOT Never stick anything in an outlet Be sure not to plug too much in at one time Examples

  19. Wires WiresWires Never Chew on wires Or Touch wires that aren’t covered If you do get shocked, make sure you tell an adult and show them where it happened

  20. Personal Injury

  21. MinorInjury Put under cold water Press a cloth on any open cuts Hold above your heart if you can Tell an adult quickly

  22. Serious Injury Make sure someone tells an adult Try not to move much Take slow deep breaths
