Reims • City of about 230 000 inhabitants located 130 km east of Paris in the heart of France’s Champagne region. • It is home to prestigious Champagne houses such as Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Pommery, Ruinart and Piper Heidsieck. • Reims is most famous for its 13th century gothic cathedral where French kings were crowned. Along with the St. Rémi Basilica, it is a classified UNESCO World Heritage site. • Reims is accessible via TGV since June 2007 from Paris to Reims within 40 minutes and 30 minutes to CDG airport.
