  1. ATTENTION ANGLERS SHOVELNOSE STURGEON have been stocked into the Scioto River to reestablish a population in their former range. This is an ENDANGERED SPECIES and should be returned to the water immediately. If caught, please cut the line and don’t attempt to remove deeply embedded hooks. Please report sightings to the Ohio Division of Wildlife at 614-644-3925 or 740-589-9946
