Homework • Homework Nightly (Math/Spelling/Reader’s Roar Log & Summary) • Weekly Current Event (passed out on Friday and turned in the following Friday) • Occasional homework in the content areas (Science or Social Studies) • Homework Should Take No Longer Than One Hour Per Night • Report Card Ratings Reflect Entire Quarter

Communication • Agenda notebook – should be checked on a daily basis for homework assignments and upcoming due dates • Friday folder – sent home weekly with school information and graded papers; student behaviors marked bi-weekly and are aligned with report card behaviors; weekly signature • Quarterly Progress Reports & Report Cards • Parent/Teacher Conferences
