The new Hold and Resume Orders functionality in the VCH NLB system empowers providers to manage medications more effectively. Providers can now place an active medication on hold for a specified date/time and resume it based on customizable parameters. This feature addresses the challenge of home or maintenance medications not being resumed in a timely manner, which can lead to adverse events. Key functionalities focus on user-friendly operations while ensuring patient safety during critical care transitions. The rollout is scheduled for March 19th, with comprehensive support available.
