2. Introduction Practical information concerning this information meeting • Questions are welcomed, and there will be time for further questions after this presentation. • Banedanmark reserves the right not to answer certain questions during the information meeting (e.g. complicated questions), and instead invite the questioner to forward the question in writing in accordance with the Q&A process • This information meeting and the following slides are not part of the tender documents. Following this information meeting, brief minutes of the meeting will be made available on the website for the Electrification Programme. The contents of these brief minutes are considered part of the tender documents, and the requests for prequalification must reflect this. The minutes will cover any questions answered during the information meeting.

3. Political commitment to electrification There is a strong political commitment to move forward with the electrification Km catenary already in commission: • Fjernbane:25 kV AC: 1 321 km • S-bane: 1500 V DC: 435 km Total: 1 756 km

4. Already decided projects for electrification- approved and financed (see, however, contract notice section VI.3, P) • Km of catenary system: • Copenhagen - Ringsted: 120 km • Ringsted - Holeby: 258 km • Lunderskov - Esbjerg: 114 km • Køge Nord – Næstved: 45 km • Total volume: 537 km

5. Projects that still require political approval- but have a good business case and general political goodwill Pending political decision • Km of catenary system: • Roskilde – Holbæk – Kalundborg: 112 km • Fredericia - Aarhus: 218 km • Aarhus - Aalborg: 280 km • Total volume: 610 km

6. Soonest possible implementation Implementation is coordinated with the Signalling Programme. The Electrification Programme is implemented after the Signalling Programme due to electrical shielding issues 2015:Esbjerg - Lunderskov (the only project implemented before the Signalling Programme) 2018: Køge Nord – Næstved (early implementation of the Signalling Programme) 2018:Copenhagen - Ringsted 2020: Ringsted - Holeby 2020: Fredericia - Aarhus and Aarhus – Aalborg (if/when a political decision is made) 2021:Roskilde – Holbæk – Kalundborg (if/when a political decision is made)

7. Short description of the contract What is the consultant’s job? The contract covers multi-disciplinary consultancy services in the period from 2013 to the closing of the Electrification Programme around 2021 (or, pending the exercise of the optional sections, around 2024). The main task in 2013 is to preparation of the tender documents for the Design-Build-Maintain tender, including specification of design parameters for OCL, sub stations, etc. Later, the consultant’s task will be to assist Banedanmark in carrying out the tenders, including supplier supervision during the Design and Build phases Further, the consultant will be assisting with site management and supervision activities during the construction phase

Short description of the contract Preliminary listing of resources required by Banedanmark (the list is available at the programme website) (1) Geotechnical Advisor, with experience in preliminary geophysical surveys Personnel with in-depth knowledge of Catenary Systems, preferably based on recent international experience Personnel with in-depth knowledge of Supply Stations, preferably based on recent international experience Experienced Project Manager to manage work relating to Catenary Systems, Supply Stations, etc. Experienced Site Manager to manage the construction sites of Catenary Systems and Supply Stations Experienced Supervisor to supervise the construction of Catenary systems and Supply stations

9. Short description of the contract Preliminary listing of resources required by Banedanmark (the list is available at the programme website) (2) Experienced Quality Health Safety Environment advisor Experienced Contract Manager, preferably with experience relating to design-build contracts based on functional requirements Personnel with in-depth knowledge of Supplier Management, preferably with experience in design-build contracts based on functional requirements Experienced Tender Specialist, preferably with experience in designing tenders based on functional requirements Experienced Risk Manager

10. Short description of the contract Preliminarylisting of resourcesrequired by Banedanmark (the list is available at the programme website) (3) Resources which, as the main rule, will be covered by Banedanmark staff, but where additional external resources may be needed from time to time: Compulsory acquisition (land and property) advisor with experience in Danish compulsory acquisition law and related processes and procedures in this respect Personnel with in-depth knowledge of bridge construction work including design and site management Rail traffic coordinator preferably with experience in Danish railway operations Project Planner/Resource Coordinator Business Economist, preferably with experience from large tender processes

11. Request for prequalification (1) Practical requirements regarding the application (1) The application must be received by Banedanmark no later than 13:00 (local time) on Thursday 28 February, 2013. The application is in English or Danish. However, preprinted material (e.g. financial accounts) may also be submitted in German, Swedish or Norwegian. The application must consist of 1 original (hard copy), 2 hard copies of the original and 1 digital copy (e.g. in a USB stick).

12. Request for prequalification (2) Practical requirements regarding the application (2) • The application must consist of: • A statement of overall turnover in the last 3 financial years, • A statement of turnover in the area covered by the contract, cf. the key areas, in the last 3 financial years, • Documentation of references within the key areas (e.g. a reference list).

13. Request for prequalification (3) Practical requirements regarding the application (3) • In consortia/joint ventures, etc. all the participating parties must submit their own documentation and information. • If an applicant relies on the experience or capacities of other legal entities (e.g. a partner, a parent company or one or more affiliated companies), the applicant must prove that the applicant has at its disposal the necessary resources. • The applicant may only submit 1 request for prequalification.

14. Request for prequalification (4) Explanation of key areas • The key areas in section III.2.3 (1) a - d of the Contract Notice form the platform of the prequalification and, overall, the key areas reflect the consultancy services needed by the Client. Keyareas (a – d): • Consultancy assistance (advising the contracting entity/authority) regarding specification and/or design of railway electrification systems, including specification and/or design of catenary systems, railway sub stations and railway remote control systems • Project management (advising the contracting entity/authority) of works contracts with a total budget of more than DKK 1 000 000 000 (DKK 1 billion in total project value, i.e. not only including the consultancy fee)(The applicant is asked to translate the budget of the project into DKK in accordance with the exchange rate on www.nationalbanken.dk. If the budget is stated in another currency than DKK, Banedanmark will translate the amount stated into DKK in accordance with the exchange rate on www.nationalbanken.dk at the time of deadline for requests for prequalification.) • Consultancy assistance (advising the contracting entity/authority) in the procurement of works on the basis of functional requirements (e.g. the tendering of Design and Build contracts) • Assisting the contracting entity/authority with supplier supervision during the Design and Build phases

15. Request for prequalification (5) Minimum requirements • A yearly turnover of at least 50 000 000 (50 million) DKK • At least 1 reference within all key areas • A reference need not comprise all key areas but the combined references must cover all key areas.

16. Request for prequalification (6) Selection criteria (if more than 5 applicants meet the minimum requirements) • The applicants that have documented the most relevant references within the key areas (more important) • The applicants that have documented the highest turnover in the area covered by the contract, cf. the key areas (less important)
