  3. sympathetic Feeling compassionate or concerned for someone else “My best friend was very sympathetic when my dad died. She cooked us dinner and visited every weekend.”

  4. unfathomable Unbelievable, something you can’t even imagine or understand “It is unfathomable that someone jumped off of a twenty story building and survived. “

  5. incredulous Being unwilling or unable to believe something “After the coach yelled at them, the players exchanged incredulous looks, wondering if they were being paid enough. “

  6. grudge To refuse to forgive someone; still being ticked off at someone for something that happened in the past. “I have held a grudge against Susie since fourth grade for tearing a hole in my shirt when she borrowed it. I’ve never let her borrow anything again..”
