  5. Formation of the Subjunctive • “YO” form of the verb • Drop the “o” • Add opposite endings • -AR: -emos • -ER / -IR: -amos

  6. Watch Out For… 1. Irregular Verbs in the subjunctive 2. Orthographic Spelling Changes 3. One Letter Stem Changes in the box 4 form subjunctive for ir verbs whose stem reflect a stem change 4. Dropping the “s” before adding the pronoun “se” or “nos” 5. Accents when you attach pronouns.

  10. Watch Out for…. 4. Affirmative Nosotros commands that have pronouns attached. Drop the S off of the verb form before attaching the nos or se pronouns. ie….lavémosnos lavémonos
