The birth of Stream 1. The birth of StreamS Serv erve e StreamServe was founded in Sweden in 1997 and began developing its software platform for enterprise business communications. At first, the product was mainly used in Sweden, but it gradually entered the global market. StreamServe has been used by customers in financial services, telecommunications, utilities, manufacturing, and other industries to generate highly complex template documents in a variety of formats—invoices, financial statements, notification letters, production labels, shipping documents, and more. StreamServe features native output management, allowing companies to distribute generated documents through various output channels, such as print shops or their industrial printers, email, file transfer, document archiving, and more. Because of this feature, StreamServe is often referred to as "output management software". However, while StreamServe is powerful for managing document distribution, it also integrates with other products that specialize in complex printer management, e-mail delivery management (especially tracking delivered e- mail), and some other specialized output management tasks. A large part of product development is done at Bentech's StreamServe R&D centers in Prague and Lviv. The CCM solution is used by more than 5,000 customers in 130 countries. Working together, the two companies can create a common design environment for producing and distributing business-critical documents to support interactive and high-volume output processes. Adobe sold the solution initially as LiveCycle Production Print and later as Adobe LiveCycle Production Print ES. It integrates well with Adobe Design Centre and has a large feature set, present in several editions. As a result, Adobe customers leverage StreamServe output management solutions to provide enhanced business communications and streamline business processes. 3. Two notable StreamServe incidents occurred in 2010. The first is a partnership agreement with SAP, which recognizes StreamServe as the preferred SAP output management system and provides the company with a strong business boost. StreamServe complements SAP's offerings, but it's still a standalone product with its ecosystem. When SAP added StreamServe to its price list, it gave it its product name - Documentation Presentation for SAP Solutions. Technically, this application from StreamServe has gained some new features for integration with SAP, such as the SAP Connectivity Pack, which adds support for many native SAP data formats. Document Present Live introduces a tighter integration with SAP - the SAP add-on uses the StreamServe engine to create template documents on demand from the SAP interface. For example, you can select a client in SAP CRM, then select a StreamServe template and create a letter. The solution also has an approval process. So many people can work together in a controlled environment where you can create template documents, control which blocks others are allowed to edit, set restrictions on different authors, and more.
