The ASU Active Directory environment currently operates on Windows 2003 SP1 across all domain controllers, featuring 26 top-level OUs in ASURITE. It provides Windows CALs to all faculty, staff, and students, with student Windows accounts managed in ASUAD. There are also legacy NT 4.0 domains being migrated to enhance the overall infrastructure. The transition to an Enterprise Windows Environment is underway, emphasizing security for applications requiring compliance with regulations like HIPAA and FERPA. Training opportunities are available for OU administrators.
