  5. MYANMAR TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS • HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPEMNT CAPACITY BUILDING • “ Freight Forwarder ‘s Course” : 3 months Multimodal Transport & Introduction of Logistics. (MIFFA) • “ Diploma Granted Course” : 3 months Multimodal Transport & Logistic certificate (MMU)

HUMAN RESOURSE DEVELOPEMNTCAPACITY BUILDING • Certificates consists of three modules • Certificates course in Freight Forwarding • Certificates course in Logistics and supply chain management • Certificates course in trade facilitation & custom procedures • Certificates course for MTO & Logistics management • Foundation course for MTO & Logistics management

VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Myanmar Maritime University, Ministry (MMU) Lecturers from University and MIFFA conduct base on AFFA & UNESCAP module in 2009 one month course • UNESCAP provided 4 days TOT training in Myanmar in 2009, 26 Trainees • UNESCAP provided up-grate TOT training for in Bangkok in 2009, 26 Trainees • UNESCAP again provided another TOT in Myanmar in AUG/2010 • UNESCAP again provided TOT for Dangerous Cargo by AIR & Advance course for MTO & Logistics Management in OCT/2011

  8. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics and Supply Chain Management training • 21-11-2008 to 15-2-2009 • Enroll 50 trainees and 43 received certificate • 15 trainees out of 43 received further training by TIFFA which sponsored by JICE

  9. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Certificate for Multimodal Transport and Logistics Management training • 1.6.2009 to 3.9.2009 • Enroll 50 trainees and 49 received certificates • 4 trainees out of 49 received further TOT training at Bangkok by UNESCAP

  10. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Foundation course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics UNESCAP- FITL (1/2010) • 22.3.2010 to 24.9.2010 • Enroll 50 trainees and 43 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at UMFCCI 5th floor training room

  11. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Foundation course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics UNESCAP- FITL (2/2010) • 14.5.2010 to 16.5.2010 • Enroll 50 trainees and 43 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at UMFCCI 5th floor training room

  12. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • TOT for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics by UNESCAP • 17.8.2010 to 18.8.2010 • Enroll 62 trainees and 62 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at MMMC

  13. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Foundation course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics UNESCAP- FITL (3/2010) • 19.8.2010 to 20.8.2010 • Enroll 50 trainees and 48 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at MMMC

  14. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Foundation course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics UNESCAP- FITL (1/2011) • 5.6.2011 to 6 .8.2011 • Enroll 59 trainees and 59 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at UMFCCI

  15. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Foundation course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics UNESCAP- FITL (2/2011) • 18.6.2011 to 19 .6.2011 • Enroll 44 trainees and 44 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at UMFCCI

  16. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Foundation course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics UNESCAP- FITL (3/2011) • 3.4.2011 to 4 .4.2011 • Enroll 42 trainees and 42 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at MIFFA Logistics Training Centre

  17. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Advance course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics within the industry • 9~10, 16~17, 23, July 2011 • Enroll 44 trainees and 44 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at MIFFA Logistics Training Centre

  18. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Advance course for Multimodal Transport Operation and Logistics within the industry • 17~18,24~25, Sep & 1st OCT 2011 • Enroll 30 trainees and 30 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU and MIFFA at MIFFA Logistics Training Centre

  19. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • Training on Transport of Dangerous Cargo by Air • 11~12 OCT 2011 • Enroll 45 trainees and 45 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU , CAAS and MIFFA at MIFFA Logistics Training Centre

  20. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • TOT for Foundation course on International Transports & Logistics • 13~14 OCT 2011 • Enroll 20 trainees and 20 received certificate • Under the supervision of Ministry of transport, MMU , UNESCAP and MIFFA at MIFFA Logistics Training Centre

  21. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • From 2009 to 2011 2 TOT training in Myanmar and 2 TOT Training in BKK • Total 134 TOT in Myanmar • Total 371 trainees attended Foundation course • 19 trainees out of 371 was be trained in Thailand by TIFFA & JICE • Total 74 trainees attended Advance course • Total 45 trainees attended Dangerous Goods by air

  22. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • From 2009 to 2011 • 4 times TOT training • 2 times 3 months certificates course • 6 times foundation course • 2 times advance course • One time Dangerous goods by air • In future MIFFA is planning to open regular training course for foundation course & advance course

  23. VOCATIONAL TRAINING • MMU now accomplishing post-graduate diploma degree of “ Diploma in Multimodal Transport & Logistics Management “ • The Diploma and full Degree procedure will be “ certificates-diploma-advance diploma to full degree

  24. MYANMAR TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS • IT DEVELOPMENT • CURRENTLY USE E.MAIL & OVERSEA OFFICE • NEED TO CONTROL TRACK AND TRACE SYSTEM. • CREATING PORT NET SYSTEM COLLABORATION WITH MPA • START APPLY E.CUSTOM DOCUMENTATION
