  6. And instead of buying clothes and food with the money he did have, he bought more books.

  7. This left him looking thin and frail…

  8. And with threadbare clothes.

  9. He was respected by many for his knowledge.

  10. The Oxford Cleric was a man of few words…

  11. But those he did speak were honest and kind.
