Ensure that our work is transparent, accountable, fair, and inclusive • IHS Role • IHS has a relatively small and limited support role in emergency and disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. • Portland Area Update • Meetings: February 18th with Oregon Health Authority; May 12th-14th, Pacific NW Cross-Border Public Health Conference, and June 17th-18th, NW Tribal PH Emergency Preparedness Conference • Field Response Coordination: healthcare IV fluid shortage, outbreaks in Yakama and Colville, and health needs in Sauk-Suiattle related to impacts of mudslide and flooding • Point of Contact: CDR Celeste Davis, REHS, MPH • Public Health Emergency Management
