  7. CINAHL • What is CINAHL? [Database] • Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature • index to nursing literature (articles, books, etc.) [describes the literature] • Why use CINAHL • references to nursing publications • uses subject terms relevant to nursing

  11. Published Date: • Select From Jan 2003 – (leave TO open) • Check PEER REVIEWED • Click Search •  retrievals? : Refine Search Tab, Check FULL TEXT

  12. Peer Reviewed • Authors must justify quality of their ideas or research or interpretation of others’ ideas or research • Reviewers are scholars with similar expertise/interest as writer

  13. How do I know if it isPeer Reviewed? • Check directories: CINAHL, UlrichsWeb • Clues: • Where did article originate • Contains scholarly references • ASK • Librarian – Helen Hough • Instructor
