Support military and civilian law enforcement agencies Support local Fire agencies with Airborne Firefighting capabilities NAVY HELICOPTER RESCUE SWIMMER (AIRR) MISSION

  3. Naval Aircrew Candidate School Pensacola, FL Includes 19 training days in various aviation skills and physiology. Aviation Rescue Swimmer School Pensacola, FL Includes 25 training days in advanced lifesaving techniques, water and physical conditioning. Naval Aircrew (AW) ‘A’ School Pensacola, FL Approximately 4 to 6 months of training in basic flight duties. SERE School Course is designed to provide Code of Conduct training to personnel at high risk of capture. 2 weeks Helicopter Fleet Replacement Squadron Approximately 5 to 7 months of training in skills and techniques required for performance as a Multi-Mission Helicopter Aircrewmen. Advanced Search and Rescue Training Upon arrival to ultimate duty station, Rescue Swimmers continue to train towards full qualification (approx 12 - 18 months) while attending advanced schools such as, but not limited to: Helicopter Basic / Master Rappel Course Emergency Medical Technition (EMT) Weapons School Advanced Rescue Swimmer School And other high adrenaline type courses NAVY HELICOPTER RESCUE SWIMMER TRAINING

  4. NAVY HELICOPTER RESCUE SWIMMER COMMANDS • Deployable Helicopter Squadrons. • Coastal and Inland Station SAR units. • Various training commands. • Locations: Hawaii California Jacksonville, FL Nevada Japan Virginia Maine Maryland Washington Key West, FL Pensacola, FL Guam

  5. BENEFITS • $ 2000 for elevated PST scores in Recruit Training. Advancement to E-2 upon graduation on Recruit Training. • Enlistment bonus of $25,000 and advancement to E-4 upon graduation from Rescue Swimmer School and AW ‘A’ School. • Reenlistment bonus of $45,000. • Specialty pays up to $825 per month. • Rewarding career for both men and women.
