  4. Support Needed • Independent in most ways of my internship. • Job Duties: folding silverware, stocking juices, and serving desserts to rooms. • My feelings about my internship was I thought it was a real pleasure because I GOT TO WORK in a kitchen.

  5. What I Learned • I learned that working in a kitchen takes a lot of hard work to accomplish.

Support Needed • Independent in most ways of my internship. • Job duties: Food prep work, cutting up collard greens, making cakes and cupcakes, making iced tea, and stocking sodas in soda fridge. • My feelings about my internship was I thought it was a exciting culinary experience. It was my best internship yet. I really enjoyed it.

  8. What I learned • I learned that you can get a lot of work experience from a kitchen internship. • Also it is never easy working in a kitchen.

Two Years At The Academy • What I learned from my two years at the academy is that I now have the skills I need to finally move on with my life because I plan on going through a training program although I haven’t made up my mind about which one yet. With all the stuff I now know more about my finance skills, apartment skills, and more importantly my independent living skills.

  15. Two Year Reflection • My two years at the academy has shown how to be more independent. I know now how to make my own decisions. I know how to take of myself. I can look for an apartment, and I can keep track of my finances. My two years at the academy has also showed me more about how to be an adult. I also know how to live on my own thanks to many activities we have done at the Tanglewoods apartment. I can know get around my community by using the local bus. I finally know what I want to do with my life which is going through a training program.
