Surah 42: Ash-Shura Óáoâ»åÂB áäÅâF ánãmËâXãä Cæä×ãQáoá® CæÊDåo⺠áÀå×áÂãH CáËå×ácåÑáF áÀãÂámá¾áÑØ㶠ç¼ÖãoᶠãÐ×㶠áSåÖán áÙ ã°åÇá`åÂB áÅåÒáÖ ánãmËâWáÑ CáÏáÂåÒác åÌáÆáÑý7þ ão×ã¯áätÂB Ø㶠ç¼Öãoá¶áÑ ãUáäËá`åÂB [42:7] And thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Quran, that you may warn the mother city and those around it, and that you may give warning of the day of gathering together wherein is no doubt; a party shall be in the garden and (another) party in the burning fire. Surah 42: Ash-Shura ÌáÆ âÄãgåkâÖ Ìã¿áÂáÑ æTákãcBáÑ æUáäÆâF åÈâÏáÃá¯á`á âÐáäÃÂB ACáw åÒáÂáÑèo×ã|áÊ áÙáÑ èäØãÂáÑ ÌãäÆ ÈâÏá CáÆ áÉÒâÇãÂCáä«ÂBáÑ ãÐãXáÇåcán Ø㶠ACáxáÖý8þ [42:8] And if Allah had pleased He would surely have made them a single community, but He makes whom He pleases enter into His mercy, and the unjust it is that shall have no guardian or helper. Surah 42: Ash-Shura åÈâ¿ãtâ·ÊáF åÌãäÆ Èâ¿á áÄá¯á_ ã¡ånáåÛBáÑ ãVBáÑCáÇáätÂB âoã¦Cá¶ãÐãÃå\ãÇá¾ áuå×á ãÐ×㶠åÈâ¾âJánåmáÖ Cæ_BáÑåpáF ãÅCá¯åÊáåÛB áÌãÆáÑ Cæ_BáÑåpáF ý11þ âo×ã|áRÂB â°×ãÇáätÂB áÒâÎáÑ çAåØáw [42:11] The Originator of the heavens and the earth; He made mates for you from among yourselves, and mates of the cattle too, multiplying you thereby; nothing like a likeness of Him; and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. Surah 42: Ash-Shura ACáxáÖ ÌáÇã á¹åpãäoÂB â¨âtåRáÖ ã¡ånáåÛBáÑ ãVBáÑCáÇáätÂB âk×ãÂCá»áÆ âÐáÂý12þ çÈ×ãÃá® èAåØáw ãäÄâ¿ãQ âÐáäÊãH ânãkå»áÖáÑ [42:12] His are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; He makes ample and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases; surely He is Cognizant of all things. Surah 42: Ash-Shura CáËå×ácåÑáF ÕãmáäÂBáÑ CæcÒâÊ ãÐãQ Ôáä{áÑ CáÆ ãÌÖãäkÂB áÌãäÆ Èâ¿á á­áoáwBÒâÇ×ãºáF åÉáF Ôát×ã®áÑ ÔásÒâÆáÑ áÈ×ãÎBáoåQãH ãÐãQ CáËå×áä{áÑ CáÆáÑ áÀå×áÂãHãÐ×㶠BÒâºáäoá·áXáW áÙáÑ áÌÖãäkÂB [42:13] He has made plain to you of the religion what He enjoined upon Nuh and that which We have revealed to you and that which We enjoined upon Ibrahim and Musa and Isa that keep to obedience and be not divided therein; Arabic text by DILP, Translation by M. Surah 42: Ash-Shura åÈâÎÒâ®åkáW CáÆ áÌ×ã¾ãoåxâÇåÂB ÔáÃá® áoâRá¾ ý13þâS×ãËâÖ ÌáÆ ãÐå×áÂãH ÕãkåÏáÖáÑ ACáxáÖ ÌáÆ ãÐå×áÂãH ØãRáXå`áÖ âÐáäÃÂB ãÐå×áÂãH hard to the unbelievers is that which you call them to; Allah chooses for Himself whom He pleases, and guides to Himself him who turns (to Him), frequently. Surah 42: Ash-Shura åÈâÏáËå×áQ Cæ×å³áQ âÈåÃã¯åÂB âÈâÎACá_ CáÆ ãkå¯áQ ÌãÆ áäÙãH BÒâºáäoá·áW CáÆáÑáØã£â»áä ÔæäÇátâäÆ èÄá_áF ÔáÂãH áÀãäQáän ÌãÆ åYá»áRás çUáÇãÃá¾ áÙåÒáÂáÑåÈâÏáËå×áQ [42:14] And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them out of envy among themselves; and had not a word gone forth from your Lord till an appointed term, certainly judgment would have been given between them; Arabic text by DILP, Translation by M. Surah 42: Ash-Shura Øã·á åÈãÎãkå¯áQ ÌãÆ áPCáXã¿åÂB BÒâ[ãnÑâF áÌÖãmáäÂB áäÉãHáÑ ý14þ èSÖãoâÆ âÐåËãäÆ èäÀáw and those who were made to inherit the Book after them are most surely in disquieting doubt concerning it. Surah 42: Ash-Shura åÈâÎABáÒåÎáF å°ãRáäXáW áÙáÑ áVåoãÆâF CáÇá¾ åÈã»áXåsBáÑ â­åjCᶠáÀãÂámãÃá¶âÈâ¿áËå×áQ áÁãkå®áãÛ âVåoãÆâFáÑ èPCáXã¾ ÌãÆ âÐáäÃÂB áÁáqÊáF CáÇãQ âYËáÆD åÄâºáÑ åÈâ¿âäQánáÑ CáËâäQán âÐáäÃÂB [42:15] To this then go on inviting, and go on steadfastly on the right way as you are commanded, and do not follow their low desires, and say: I believe in what Allah has revealed of the Book, and I am commanded to do justice between you: Allah is our Lord and your Lord; Arabic text by DILP, Translation by M. Surah 42: Ash-Shura áUáä`âc áÙ åÈâ¿âÂCáÇå®áF åÈâ¿áÂáÑ CáËâÂCáÇå®áF CáËá ý15þ âo×ã|áÇåÂB ãÐå×áÂãHáÑ CáËáËå×áQ â°áÇå`áÖ âÐáäÃÂB âÈâ¿áËå×áQáÑ CáËáËå×áQ we shall have our deeds and you shall have your deeds; no plea need there be (now) between us and you: Allah will gather us together, and to Him is the return. Surah 42: Ash-Shura âÐá áS×ã`âXåsB CáÆ ãkå¯áQ ÌãÆ ãÐáäÃÂB Ø㶠áÉÒâä_CádâÖ áÌÖãmáäÂBáÑçSá£á² åÈãÏå×áÃá®áÑ åÈãÏãäQán ákËã® çUá£ãcBáj åÈâÏâXáä`âc ý16þ çkÖãkáw çPBámá® åÈâÏáÂáÑ [42:16] And (as for) those who dispute about Allah after that obedience has been rendered to Him, their plea is null with their Lord, and upon them is wrath, and for them is severe punishment. Surah 42: Ash-Shura áÉÒâ»ã·åxâÆ BÒâËáÆD áÌÖãmáäÂBáÑ CáÏãQ áÉÒâËãÆåKâÖ áÙ áÌÖãmáäÂB CáÏãQ âÄã`å¯áXåtáÖáÉÑânCáÇâÖ áÌÖãmáäÂB áäÉãH áÙáF âä¼ádåÂB CáÏáäÊáF áÉÒâÇáÃå¯áÖáÑ CáÏåËãÆý18þ èk×ã¯áQ èÁáÚᢠØã·á ãUá®CáätÂB Ø㶠[42:18] Those who do not believe in it would hasten it on, and those who believe are in fear from it, and they know that it is the truth. Surah 42: Ash-Shura âqÖãqá¯ÂB âäÕãÒá»åÂB áÒâÎáÑ ACáxáÖ ÌáÆ â¹âpåoáÖ ãÍãjCáRã¯ãQ ç¸×ã§á âÐáäÃÂBý19þ [42:19] Allah is Benignant to His servants; He gives sustenance to whom He pleases, and He is the Strong, the Mighty. Surah 42: Ash-Shura áÉCá¾ ÌáÆáÑ ãÐã[åoác Ø㶠âÐá åjãqáÊ ãTáoãgåÝB áZåoác âkÖãoâÖ áÉCá¾ ÌáÆÌãÆ ãTáoãgåÝB Ø㶠âÐá CáÆáÑ CáÏåËãÆ ãÐãWKâÊ Cá×åÊâäkÂB áZåoác âkÖãoâÖý20þ èS×ã|áäÊ [42:20] Whoever desires the gain of the hereafter, We will give him more of that gain; and whoever desires the gain of this world, We give him of it, and in the hereafter he has no portion. Surah 42: Ash-Shura ãÐãQ ÉálåGáÖ åÈá CáÆ ãÌÖãäkÂB áÌãäÆ ÈâÏá BÒâ®áoáw ACá¾áoâw åÈâÏá åÅáFáÌ×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB áäÉãHáÑ åÈâÏáËå×áQ áØã£â»á ãÄå|á·åÂB âUáÇãÃá¾ áÙåÒáÂáÑ âÐáäÃÂBý21þ çÈ×ãÂáF çPBámá® åÈâÏá [42:21] Or have they associates who have prescribed for them any religion that Allah does not sanction? And were it not for the word of judgment, decision would have certainly been given between them; and surely the unjust shall have a painful punishment. Arabic text by DILP, Translation by M. H. Surah 42: Ash-Shura áÌÖãmáäÂBáÑ åÈãÏãQ ç°ãºBáÑ áÒâÎáÑ BÒâRátá¾ CáäÇãÆ áÌ×ã»ã·åxâÆ áÌ×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ÓáoáWÈâÏá ãVCáäËá`åÂB ãVCá¢åÑán Ø㶠ãVCádãÂCáä|ÂB BÒâÃãÇá®áÑ BÒâËáÆDý22þ âo×ãRá¿ÂB âÄå£á·åÂB áÒâÎ áÀãÂál åÈãÏãäQán ákËã® áÉÑâJCáxáÖ CáäÆ [42:22] You will see the unjust fearing on account of what they have earned, and it must befall them; and those who believe and do good shall be in the meadows of the gardens; they shall have what they please with their Lord: that is the great grace. Surah 42: Ash-Shura BÒâÃãÇá®áÑ BÒâËáÆD áÌÖãmáäÂB âÍájCáRã® âÐáäÃÂB âoãäxáRâÖ ÕãmáäÂB áÀãÂáláTáäjáÒáÇåÂB áäÙãH Bæoå_áF ãÐå×áÃá® åÈâ¿âÂáGåsáF áäÙ Ä⺠ãVCádãÂCáä|ÂBáäÉãH CæËåtâc CáÏ×㶠âÐá åjãqáäÊ æUáËátác åµãoáXå»áÖ ÌáÆáÑ ÔáQåoâ»åÂB Øã¶ý23þ çnÒâ¿áw çnÒâ·á² áÐáäÃÂB [42:23] That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely Allah is Forgiving, Grateful. Surah 42: Ash-Shura åÈãXåháÖ âÐáäÃÂB ãGáxáÖ ÉãIᶠCæQãmá¾ ãÐáäÃÂB ÔáÃá® ÓáoáXå¶B áÉÒâÂÒâ»áÖ åÅáFãÐãWCáÇãÃá¿ãQ áä¼ádåÂB âä¼ãdâÖáÑ áÄã¦CáRåÂB âÐáäÃÂB âeåÇáÖáÑ áÀãRåÃẠÔáÃá®ý24þ ãnÑâkâä|ÂB ãVBámãQ çÈ×ãÃá® âÐáäÊãH [42:24] Or do they say: He has forged a lie against Allah? But if Allah pleased, He would seal your heart; and Allah will blot out the falsehood and confirm the truth with His words; surely He is Cognizant of what is in the breasts. Surah 42: Ash-Shura ãVCáNãä×áätÂB ãÌá® Òâ·å¯áÖáÑ ãÍãjCáRã® åÌá® áUáQåÒáäXÂB âÄáRå»áÖ ÕãmáäÂB áÒâÎáÑý25þ áÉÒâÃá¯å·áW CáÆ âÈáÃå¯áÖáÑ [42:25] And He it is Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons the evil deeds and He knows what you do; Arabic text by DILP, Translation by M. Surah 42: Ash-Shura ÌãäÆ ÈâÎâkÖãqáÖáÑ ãVCádãÂCáä|ÂB BÒâÃãÇá®áÑ BÒâËáÆD áÌÖãmáäÂB âS×ã`áXåtáÖáÑý26þ çkÖãkáw çPBámá® åÈâÏá áÉÑâoã¶Cá¿åÂBáÑ ãÐãÃå£á¶ [42:26] And He answers those who believe and do good deeds, and gives them more out of His grace; and (as for) the unbelievers, they shall have a severe punishment. Surah 42: Ash-Shura Ìã¿áÂáÑ ã¡ånáåÛB Ø㶠BåÒá³áRá ãÍãjCáRã¯ã á¹åpãäoÂB âÐáäÃÂB á¨átáQ åÒáÂáÑý27þ ço×ã|áQ ço×ãRág ãÍãjCáRã¯ãQ âÐáäÊãH ACáxáÖ CáäÆ ènáká»ãQ âÁãäqáËâÖ [42:27] And if Allah should amplify the provision for His servants they would certainly revolt in the earth; but He sends it down according to a measure as He pleases; surely He is Aware of, Seeing, His servants. Surah 42: Ash-Shura ÌãÆ CáÇãÏ×㶠áä]áQ CáÆáÑ ã¡ånáåÛBáÑ ãVBáÑCáÇáätÂB â¼åÃág ãÐãWCáÖD åÌãÆáÑý29þ çoÖãkẠACáxáÖ BálãH åÈãÏã¯åÇá_ ÔáÃá® áÒâÎáÑ èUáäQBáj [42:29] And one of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and what He has spread forth in both of them of living beings; and when He pleases He is all-powerful to gather them together. And those who believe shall say: Surely the losers are they who have lost themselves and their followers on the resurrection day. Now surely the iniquitous shall remain in lasting chastisement.
