Children’s Oral Care

Ensuring proper oral hygiene in children is vital for their health. Start as soon as they have visible teeth, with the AAP recommending twice-daily brushing with a soft-bristled brush. Use a washcloth for gums before teeth emerge. Limit sugar intake and ensure adequate fluoride through water and dental treatments. Create a family routine to encourage good habits, and address common issues like thumb sucking and braces with care. Make oral hygiene fun through engaging activities and colorful toothbrushes. Prioritize regular dental visits as children grow.
