  1. These dirty streets Fenner, Shawn 12-22-10

  2. Why are our streets so dirty?

  3. Introduction • The reason why I chose the topic trash is because every time you are walking down your block or the street all u see is trash. Then when you look in the gutter all u see is piled up trash. Especially when it rains the trash makes it overflow. Trash is a problem in our city today because a lot of people don’t care the just throw their trash right on the ground, even when a trash can is right there. • Another reason why the trash needs to stop is rats. Today the rat’s population just keeps increasing because there is so much trash. You can be walking down the street and a rat just hop out on you out of nowhere because of the trash everywhere. Rats these days are eating well. Us as people need to stop feeding them rodents.

  4. Introduction • All this trash is not good it’s making the united states of a bad reputation of being a trashy state. It’s now being said that it is safe to say that the United States excretes more garbage, in more durable forms, than any society before it. In the recent years we have histories of trash that doesn’t make any sense at all.

  5. My statement • My question is relevant to the Baltimore because there is allot of trash problems on our streets.

  6. My description • The 1st thing I did to conduct my survey was print out 50 copies. • 2nd I got people two do them in school. • 3rd I got people to do them at home. • 4th I tally how many people answered certain answer choices. • The 5th thing I did was put all that information into data charts.

  10. What programs do we have after school?

  11. Does your street get cleaned every week?

  12. Do you think their needs to be more trash cans on the streets?

  13. Why do you think people liter?

  14. Do your friend’s liter allot?

  15. What persuades friends to liter?

  16. Conclusion • The thing I can conclude about my survey is that after doing my survey allot of people will take trash being on the streets dirty.

  17. The way I would change my survey • The way I would change my survey. Is too change some of my answer choices because for some questions I have the same answer choices.

  18. The questions I would research in the future • The questions I would research in the future is • Where do you think trash comes from? • Why do you think there is so much trash everywhere you go in the city?
