  1. American LegionPost Officers Portal A secure internet sitethat allows posts access totheir Legion and SAL membership.

  2. Features of ALPOP • Access to post membership from any PC with internet access. Including Laptops! • Submit Member Data Change forms on-line for both Legion and S.A.L. member records. Except New, Renewals, and Transfers. • Request listings for Current, Expired, Deceased, andUndeliverable members. • Submit Consolidated Post Reports. • AIM! Information Management software.Including downloadable database files. • Upgrades to AIM! membership software.

  3. Three Types of Changes NOT Available through ALPOP Add New Members Transfer Members Renew Members All require a signature or membership card to complete. Must be submitted through the Department.

  4. Password Maintenance ALPOP requires the password to be updated every 6 months.

  5. AIM! Software AIM! Is a windows based stand-alone software designed to assist posts with their membership communications. Use AIM! to: Create Labels Write Letters and E-mails Record Minutes Create Custom Reports Assign Officers and Committees Process Renewals And More!

  11. AIM! Software • Filtering data allows users to select specific data to work with. • Filter expired members and mail them a letter to renew! • Filter current paid members and print a roster listing. • Filter by continuous years and send a congratulatory letter!

  14. Additional Report Options Use report already set up. Calendar Maker. Record Minutes. Write letters or e-mails. Create Custom Reports.

  18. Send E-mails Click OK and your e-mail will open.Type in the text and send. Send an e-mail to current person, all people set in a filter, or to all people in the database.
