Hebrews 3:7-19 • Therefore (on the basis of) • Christ’s superiority over Moses • Listen to the Holy Spirit speaking TODAY • Psalm 95:7-11; 2 Peter 1:21 • Do not harden your hearts • As in the day, when • Israel was put on trial in the wilderness • And the fathers were tested by ME • And saw MY works for forty years • Exodus 17:1-2, 17 • Do one more thing to prove your love!

  2. Therefore (on the basis of) • I was angry with that generation • They always go astray in their heart • They did not know MY ways • I swore in my wrath • They shall not enter my rest • Numbers 14:22-23 (10 times) • The day that TODAY was over and gone

  3. Take heed • Brethern • Lest there be in you (like Israel in the wilderness) • An evil unbelieving heart • Falling away from the living God • Hebrews 6:6 • Encourage one another • day after day while it is yet TODAY • Lest you be hardened by deceitful sin

  4. The same sun that melts the wax hardens the clay • Hebrews 10:38-39 • Repeating again • TODAY, while still hearing HIS voice • Do not harden your heart • Who provoked Him? • Those coming out of Egypt • Who made Him angry for 40 years? • Those who died in the wilderness • Who didn’t enter His rest? • Those who were disobedient.

  5. And so we see • The cause for rejection—not entering into God’s rest • Unbelief apistas a pisteuo
