Greg’s Summer Vacation • The only thing that Greg Heffley wanted to do over his summer vacation was sit inside and play video games. • When he is not allowed to go to his friends country club anymore because they spent too much money buying shakes, he has to go to the town pool with his family.

  3. Greg’s Lawn Service • Greg starts a lawn service with his friend, Rowley, because they have to pay Rowley’s dad back all the money that they used to buy smoothies. • The name of the company was V.I.P Lawn Service.

  4. Greg gets a dog • When Mr. Heffely goes out and gets a dog, Mrs. Heffely pretends like she doesn’t care. • They name the dog Sweetie. • After a while, Sweetie becomes a big pain and Greg thinks that he is very annoying.

  5. Greg’s vacation with the Jeffersons • When Greg and his mom run into Rowley’s family, the Jeffersons, they ask if Greg wants to go up north with them. • Greg was kind of excited, but when he got there, there was no TV, no computer, and no video games!
