A Guide to Daily Happiness By Carol McCloud (170.83 MCC) Uses the metaphor of a bucket filled with good feelings to show how easy and rewarding it is to express kindness, appreciation, and love on a daily basis. The Kindness Quilt By Nancy Elizabeth Wallace (E WAL) Important lessons about being kind to each other when classmates (rabbits) are asked to design a quilt. Katie Woo No More Teasing By Fran Manushkin (ER MAN) Katie is being teased and she decides to ignore it. The Recess Queen By Alexis O’Neill ( E ONE) Mean Jean is the playground bully, until a new girl arrives. Confessions of a Former Bully By Trudy Ludwig (FIC LUD) Katie's punishment for bullying classmates includes making up for the hurt she has caused, and so she decides to write a book about bullying, why it is not okay, and how to start being a better friend.
