Mission JewishGen's Hungarian Special Interest Group (H-SIG) is for those with Jewish roots in the area known as "greater Hungary" or pre-Trianon Hungary and covers all those areas that were part of Hungary before World War I. This includes all of present-day Hungary and Slovakia and lands that are now within Romania, the Ukraine, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia, and Serbia.

  6. 2006 -2007 Accomplishments • H-SIG is unique because all of our projects are accomplished by volunteers (rather than paid transcribers) • We added over 200,000 new records to the AHD (135,544 Claims Conference Records) • We updated the H-SIG website with new information.
