  4. Damage it caused • Killed 600 people • Injured 1,000 • Classified as an F4 tornado • Wind speed: 207-260 mph

  5. The areas it hit • It went for 9 miles • Lasted 10 days • Avoided urban areas • High property loss • Second biggest tornado in history
