Membership requirements • Attend at least 3 meetings per semester • If for some reason you are unable to attend meetings please email Kelsey Hershey at gammabetaphilsu@gmail.com or talk with her after the meeting. • Attend 1 social event per semester • Attend 1 fundraising event per semester • If you are unable to attend the event, you may bring in $10 by the last meeting of the semester. • Complete 5 hours of community service • Turn in a completed Points Sheet with all GBP Community Service Documentation forms attached • This is due by the last meeting to Kelsey Hershey.

  4. dues • Returning members: • Local dues: $15 • Must be turned into Carly Sproule by the 4th general meeting on March 12, 2014. • If you paid local dues last semester, you do not need to pay again this semester. If you’re unsure of your payment status, check with Carly after the meeting. • National dues: $10 • Must be paid by the 4th general meeting on March 12, 2014 • To pay national dues, visit the GBP national website at www.gammabetaphi.org • Once there, follow these directions: • Chapters  Annual Dues  Pay Annual Dues  Submit • Again, if you paid national dues last semester, you do not need to pay again this semester. If you’re unsure of your payment status, check with Carly after the meeting.

More upcoming service events • Geaux BIG Baton Rouge • When: March 22, 2014 from 8:00AM–1:00PM • Where: many areas around Baton Rouge • LSU student, faculty, and staff volunteers will be working at sites from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM completing projects like painting, cleaning, and yard work all at the request of homeowners and nonprofits across East Baton Rouge Parish. • The registration deadline is February 18, 2014. These are simply examples to give you a head start on completing your 5 hours of community service.

Upcoming events • Fundraising Event • Information coming soon! • Social Events • Flagpole Social: • When: Sunday, February 23, 2014 @ 1:00 PM • Where: Flagpole on the Parade Grounds • Bowling Social: • When: Wednesday, March 19, 2014 @ 6:30 PM • Where: All Star Lanes on Airline Highway • Induction Ceremony • When: Sunday, March 30, 2014 @ 12:30 PM (tentatively) • Where: We are working on room reservations. • You may attend the Induction Ceremony to make up a missed meeting or social event.

Upcoming meetings All meetings will be held in Coates 155 at 7:00PM. • Monday, February 17 • Wednesday, March 12 • Pay Local and National Dues by this date • Honors cords requests due by this date • The first officer informational meeting will be held directly following the general meeting. • Monday, March 24 • The second officer informational meeting will be held directly following the general meeting. • Wednesday, April 9 • Points Sheets due • Fundraising money due • Elections of 2014-2015 Officers!
