  4. Malachi 3:8 “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, “In what way have we robbed You?” In tithes and offerings.

  5. Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

  6. What will help you gain a heavenly perspective on giving? Does the N.T. model of heart-giving or even the O.T. model of tithe (as a starting point) encourage you or motivate you?

  7. Seismic Shift Suggestions • Thank God each day for every breath, every dollar, and every blessing you have. • Commit to graduate your giving monthly until you reach a planned amount. • Begin talking about “your" resources as “God’s” resources.

  10. What are some of the consequences if we hoard the resources God has put in our care? What might God do if we live with open hands when it comes to resources?

  11. Seismic Shift Suggestions • Walk through your “storehouse” and put God’s name on every item. • Give away something that has a grip on you • Make something available to your friends or neighbors.

  13. 1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love.”

  14. What are the things we save and collect that will eventually go up in smoke? What will last forever and how can we begin investing in this eternal savings account?

  15. Seismic Shift Suggestions • Invest in the bank of praying for those who are not yet in God’s family. • Invest in building up those who are growing in their faith. • Make a decision to balance your investment portfolio and drop some of the stocks that won’t be worth anything in 100 years.
