Northwest • Large region – 10 counties – geography is the same size as the state of Connecticut • Four primary population centers, lots of small communities throughout • Transportation is inefficient due to bodies of water • July 1, 2013 – down to two full-time and two satellite service centers

  7. CareerCafe.org • All resources available online • Categorized as a “menu” of services • Accessible anywhere, also used in Resource Rooms and on kiosks

  8. Career Connections • Libraries, Chambers, Schools • Two-hour workshop • Content: • Learn – attendees learn about a specific topic i.e. resumes, interviewing, networking • Connect – attendees connect with staff and other job seekers
