  5. We welcome Dr. Rex Horne as our guest in the pulpit this morning and for the first three Sundays in April. Dr. Horne is President of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia.

  6. Mrs. David Slocum and co-hostesses cordially invite you to attend a drop-in miscellaneous bridal shower honoring  Henley Bergstrom, bride-elect of Dr. Andrew West, this afternoon from two until four o'clock, at her home at 1319 North Rose, Sheridan.  Note:  They are registered at McCoy-Tygart, Dillards, Wal-Mart and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

  7. Mandy Jane Royal and Brian Keith Hendrix have chosen Saturday, the eleventh of April, two thousand and nine, as the first day of their new life together. You are invited to share in their joy as they exchange marriage vows at two o'clock p.m., First Baptist Church, Sheridan, Arkansas.  Reception following in Fellowship Hall.

  8. MEXICO MISSION TRIP A meeting will be held today in the sanctuary immediately following the Morning Service for all those interested in going to Guerrero.

  9. RELAY FOR LIFE TEAM A brief meeting will be held today following the Morning Worship of the Relay for Life Team.  They will meet in the front area of the auditorium.

  10. THE PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE will meet today at 4:30 in the Conference Room in the north wing.

  11. YOUTH SMALL GROUPS are back on regular schedule tonight at 5:30.  Come and enjoy the food and group time with other youth!

  12. AWANA meets tonight at 5:30 p.m. Tonight is “Guess Who" night. Come and enjoy a fun guessing game!

  13. GOOD FRIDAY The office will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday. Plan to spend this Easter Sunday here at FBC. Special music and an Easter message by Dr. Horne will enhance our Easter worship. Invite someone to attend with you!

  14. THE COMMUNITY EASTER SERVICE, sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance, will be tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 4800 Grant 14, in Grapevine. Follow Highway 35 thru Grapevine to Grant 14. A benevolence offering will be taken up to aid the needy of our community at that service. Plan to attend this joint service with other churches in Grant County. (Note the change in location)
