This project analyzes entrance and exit survey data from Sociology of Education Master's classes taught by Dr. Paul R. Carr in 2008 and 2009. The surveys assess students' perceptions of media influence, representation, and information quality before and after engaging in a curriculum focused on media literacy, including projects on mainstream news programs. The course fosters critical discussions surrounding media and democracy through blogging and online discourse. This evaluation aims to understand shifts in students' beliefs and their media consumption habits.
