They provide affordable and manageable IT capabilities to organizations that would otherwise be beyond reach to SMEs. Executive Summary The customer being an IT solutions frontrunner wanted an “Enterprise Intranet Portal” for their workforce in order to optimize process of request approvals and manage workflows more efficiently. Synergy Technology Services, being a critical business solutions provider was given the opportunity to develop the Intranet portal. Technology Solution Sharepoint C# .Net ASP .Net Moss 2007 Sharepoint designer SQL server 2008 SSRS jQuery Javascript Created Intranet portal that deals with the process of request approvals and workflows. This portal can automatically approve the request and credits. The document management was enabled to help the client create a central repository of various documents. All the content created by the various components in the enterprise portal is controlled by a moderation process based on SharePoint Portal workflow functionality. Challenges Streamlining process approvals meant for different purposes under one portal. Continuous change requests appreciation. Business Impacts The enterprise integration eliminated the need for manual collaboration between departments by providing a single view of the activities.
