Okka’s vision for Impact Hub Yangon is to create a place or a community where Myanmar people can connect to the open world. Yemin’s vision for Impact Hub Yangon is to become the central place for like-minded individuals and teams in the local area to discuss ideas, promote intellect and create innovations. Kyaw’s vision about Impact Hub is to become a community space where people can collaborate together, generate new ideas together and build a better entrepreneurship eco-system to take part in supporting the country’s most exciting and booming economy. Klaus is an enthusiastic community developer and innovation specialist. He previously founded and worked for international development organizations on regional and global levels. Our Members & Community Collaborate.Communicate.Co-Create Yangon Heartz Genius Coffee Greenway MyMe Project Member Community Community Member Launched in January of 2014, the MyMe project is a unique, non-formal education and outreach program that provides school and assistance to children who have been compelled into servitude, by bringing the classroom to them-directly where they work (and live) – with buses equipped as classrooms. Greenovator agri-app is the latest brilliant addition to the Green Way family.  Originally conceived of as a way to outreach to farmers and link them with vital information and knowledge, it has metamorphosed into much more of a means to connect and build a network of people committed to bettering the future of farming Genius Shan Highlands Coffee started processing and roasting coffee in late 2012. We have since opened a nursery for testing some of the finest varieties of Arabica from around the world and planted acres of hillside plantains. We also opened processing and roasting facilities and a dry mill.. YangonHeartz unites professional bloggers, photographers, writers, tech geeks and project management. We have more than seven years of experience in media relationships, event planning and exhibits, social media marketing, product reviews, creative marketing and market research. And more….. Global Innovation Name MIT Solve Challenge Objective Innovation &Collaboration The Solve Youth, Skills & the Workforce of the Future challenge is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Solve, in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and the Atlassian Foundation, and seeks innovative ideas that will prepare youth for the workforce of the future. Impact Hub partnered with DFAT to identify education innovators across 5 countries in Southeast Asia and prepare them for the challenge with innovation workshops and mentoring support. Impact Hub Yangon hosted the biggest event with over 60 participants, supported 12 innovators in the application process for the challenge and connected them to the global Solve innovation community. Yangon Social Enterprise Program The Yangon Social Entrepreneurship Certificate Program (YSEP) is a 2-month long incubation program for early-stage social entrepreneurs. IHY have developed the program with inputs from local community and other social enterprise incubation programs in Southeast Asia. We coordinate the program with the support of well-experienced foreign experts and successful local entrepreneurs contributing as mentors while properly filtering and limiting our participants to promote mentor-mentee discussions during the program.
