AD SO MB Step 1 To begin, enter the direct command of “AD SO MB” on the direct command line. Direct command
F1 Will show key with cursor on any green line. F2 to return to main AD SO MB screen
Step 2 • The letter “A” to add a student record • If need to modify “M” A= Add, M=Modify
Step 3 Enter student ID number If unknown, press F1 to search by name or social security number
Step 4 Indicate term student is beginning the program (was admitted) Start Term
Step 5 • Indicate date student submitted program application (ex: 05/01/2012) • Format MM/DD/YYYY Date Student Submitted Program Application
Step 6 Program code for program student was admitted into (Ex: N9100 for BSN) Program Code
Step 7- Type of Student Based on educational background, select letter in key provided
Step 8- Degree earned Indicate highest degree student has earned
Step 9 – Where did student receive highest degree earned? Direct command line enter “fmtr” to view MDC transcript Name of institution where degree earned is indicated Number after institution name (ex: 002772) is ID entered in AD SO MB
Step 9- Continued On direct command line, enter “AD CR TR” for transcript screen ID number for school found in *ID column
Step 10- GPA Grade point average student had when applied for admission to program
Step 11 – Date of Last Post Sec. Attendance Direct command line enter “fmtr” to view MDC transcript Date indicated next to degree earned
Step 12 – Transfer Student Indicate if student is a transfer student with either “N” or “T”
Step 13- Potential Class Level Student will be coded as “3” for Junior
Step 14 – Final Admission Status “A” for Admitted “D” for Denied
Step 15 - Exceptions Indicate “N” for no exception
Step 16- Transfer Lang. Requirement We have been asked to leave this field blank.
