  2. Significant of a name DESTINY • The word destiny speaks to us of life existedand impregnated with purpose. Existed - legitimate, dwell, mandated, certified. Impregnated-life infused with purposed -All members must be clear of their destiny as we accomplish and fit in the big picture. Ecc.3:1,10-11.there is time for everything and a season for every activity under the sun…

  3. BREAKTHROUGH • Internal operation in our mentality • Declaration embedded within • Call to a higher operation above the opposing forces. • Refusal to accept any lie apart from God declares of us ….let every body be a liar but God remain to be true…

  4. CENTRE • This is a reflection of a conglomeration (collection) of many activities taking place within the community. • Principle The ice-bag principle • Only 1/10 part of the mass is visible • Epicenter-where activities evolve but creating ripples- locally based but global in effect.

  5. VISION • A church of strategic advance • A church of global relevance • A church of impact upon generations • A people of destiny

  13. Mission DBC MISSION IS TO: • Create a platform for Christ to reign. • Become a gate that gives access to Divine order. Gen.28:16-17 Jacob experience. -When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it." He was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven." • Create a Community that becomes a territorial church (giving direction, government ,leadership). • Authentic representation of Christ in the earth.(ambassadors of Christ

  14. Objectives • The community has to set patterns, systems and structures that are redemptive. • The community has to express dimensions of Christ in the earth. • Create a conducive environment that cause the community realize and fulfill Gods divine destiny.

  16. Core values • 1.There is no place in the Kingdom for complaining about another to someone else. • 2.The Kingdom does not tolerate duplicity.(deceit ,dishonesty) -The integrity of your word

  17. 3. The absolute need to recognize our mistakes, take responsibility for them and change -We must confront our failures and make no excuses -No advance can be achieved unless we become accountable for our actions,

  18. 4. The need to be slow to speak and the ability to judge the impact of spoken words • 5. No member of our church, community or network is under our control. -We refuse to own persons and take authority over them. -We may give our opinion upon a matter but we cannot prevent someone from acting.

  19. 6.Death to our own desires and personal motives - there is no need to defend ourselves. -A refusal to fight for your rights -This is an issue of self • 7. There must be no competition in the Kingdom

  21. 9. An absolute refusal to engage in hypocrisy destroying the Pharisee element. • 10. The necessity to operate outside of personal strongholds and cultural values • As members of the Kingdom of God we must not allow our own peculiar cultural perspectives on life to color our judgment.
