CSU BOOKSTORE Information • What is available for candidates souvenirs, diploma frames • What to bring when retrieving regalia photo identification • If unable to pick up regalia--a letter authorizing someone else to pick it up; letter must include your name, CSU ID# and phone number, signature and the person’s name who will pick up regalia. They must provide photo id. • Need more information, phone number: 706-568-2007

  3. Financial Obligation • Graduation fee – must be paid by NOW! • Holds – all fines MUST be paid to receive diplomas and transcripts • Loans – Exit Counseling Loan Financial Aid will notify candidates who have loans to begin the procress

  4. Ceremony Information • Date: May 9, 2011 • Location: Columbus Civic Center • Number of candidates: 600+ • Number of ceremonies: 1 • Times of ceremony: 6:30 p.m. • Guests may begin to enter: 4:30 p.m.

  6. Rehearsal • Check-in: Entrance by the Administrative Offices • Parking location: Lot D • Times: check-in times for rehearsal: 3:45 – 4:15 (don’t be late) rehearsal times: 4:30 • Marshal card: name, side, row, seat and college honors (undergraduates only; current overall gpa as of Fall 2010)

  7. Honors for undergraduate • Based on current overall gpa (as of Fall semester, 2010) • Cum Laude 3.40 – 3.59 • Magna Cum Laude 3.60 – 3.79 • Summa Cum Laude 3.80 – 4.00

  8. Ceremony • Line up: 6:15 p.m • Length of ceremony: approx. two hours • Guests may begin to enter: 4:30

  9. Dress Code • No FLIP FLOPS • Ladies: dress/skirt; pants fine if dark (brown, black or navy), comfortable shoes • Men: dark pants; white or light blue shirt; tie is optional but have seen men wear them; no coat

  10. Requirements for participating in ceremony To be eligible to participate in the ceremony: Graduates: All degree progress sheets in the Registrar’s Office for review No “I” on courses required to complete the degree unless it is a continuing sequence course Undergraduates: All DER adjustments in the Registrar’s Office for processing All non-course requirements met No RED or “Not Met” on DER

  12. After ceremony Grades due: May 12, 2011 Award date: May 9, 2011 Date grades & award date are official: May 17, 2011

  13. Diplomas • Only your name and degree (no majors or minors) • Undergraduates will have honors; if achieved • Diploma mailed: June 30, 2011
