Australian Centre for Blood Diseases FIRKIN VACATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The Australian Centre for Blood Diseases invites currently enrolled Science, BioMedical Science and Medicine Undergraduate Students to apply to participate in the Firkin Vacation Scholarship program. The scholarships recognise the enormous contribution of Professor B.G. Firkin to the field of thrombosis and cardiovascular disease. The scholarships are designed to encourage high achieving undergraduates who wish to pursue a career in biomedical research. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a research project supervised by senior research staff over 6-10 week intervals, during University vacation periods.
