Firkin Vacation Scholarship Program for Biomedical Undergraduates at Australian Centre for Blood Diseases

The Australian Centre for Blood Diseases invites undergraduate students in Science, Biomedical Science, and Medicine to apply for the Firkin Vacation Scholarship Program. Recognizing Professor B.G. Firkin's contributions to thrombosis and cardiovascular disease, this scholarship supports high-achieving students pursuing biomedical research. Successful candidates will engage in a research project supervised by senior staff over 6-10 weeks during university vacation. A stipend of $250 per week is offered. Australian Centre for Blood Diseases FIRKIN VACATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The Australian Centre for Blood Diseases invites currently enrolled Science, BioMedical Science and Medicine Undergraduate Students to apply to participate in the Firkin Vacation Scholarship program. The scholarships recognise the enormous contribution of Professor B.G. Firkin to the field of thrombosis and cardiovascular disease. The scholarships are designed to encourage high achieving undergraduates who wish to pursue a career in biomedical research. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a research project supervised by senior research staff over 6-10 week intervals, during University vacation periods. A stipend of $250 per week will be awarded to successful applicants. Please note : All Summer vacation scholarships are now administered centrally through Monash University.
