Over Production- to much of one item was being made and the people didn’t buy it witch lead to people getting fired • Stocks crash- cause of over production, it caused the stocks to crash • Uneven distribution- the richer were getting richer while the poorer were getting poorer • Poor farming technique- the farmers kept growing the same product on the same spot and that ended up killing the soil and to make it worse the dust bowl occurred • Poor banking policy- the banks were lending out money that wasn’t theirs, and when the people came to check out their money their was no money to give Cause of the Great Depression

So from the poor to the rich (Emergency banking relief act) required federal examiners to survey the nations banks (T.V.A) built hydroelectric plants and dams aimed at improving seven southern states and attracting industry for the south (F.D.I.C) federal deposit insurance corporation. Provided government insurance for banks deposit up a certain point FDR

  4. (T.V.A) it help create electricity for the people in the south and made a dam • (Emergency Banking Relief) it help banks in America and keep their money safe • (F.D.I.C) made banks more confident in the banking system Affects of FDR Programs

Improved taxes He worked from the top to the bottom Supported business industries (Voluntary efforts), when he told business leaders to keep the prices the same and not to higher them (Hawley Smoot Tariff), raised taxes on imports from other country's so the they raised taxes on us banks (reconstruction finance corporation) made to help and rail roads company’s Herbert Hoover’s

(RFC) made to help banks and rail roads but wasn’t successful on its plan and didn’t really help • (Voluntary Efforts) this didn’t work because the business leaders didn’t listen and did not keep the prices low • (Hawley Smoot Tariff) this affected many Americans at the time but mostly affected the poor, they raised taxes and the productions from other country’s Affects of Hoover Programs
