5th Grade Intros . 2013-2014. Mrs Guerin. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mrs Guerin and I will be teaching writing this year. This is my second year at American Academy teaching 5th grade. I have been teaching for over 15 years and have taught all grade levels.

  2. Mrs Guerin I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mrs Guerin and I will be teaching writing this year. This is my second year at American Academy teaching 5th grade. I have been teaching for over 15 years and have taught all grade levels. I am originally from New York, where I met and married my husband. We are happily married for 19 years and have four children. We have 2 girls, who are 16 and 14, and 2 boys, who are 11 and 3. Their names are Nicolette (16), Chloe (14), Ryan (11) and Jake (3). I grew up in New York and moved to Colorado about 12 years ago. I love living in Colorado. When I am not teaching, I also enjoy spending time with my family. We love doing things together, and I attend numerous sporting and school events during the year. I also love to travel, especially with my family. This summer we went to Cancun, Mexico. We stayed on the beach in a spacious 2 bedroom villa. We participated in various water activities, and even went on a day trip to a place called XCaret. On our day trip, we got to swim in an underground river, pet the stingrays and even saw a show that had over 300 actors in it. We also did some things around town this summer. We went to the Museum of Nature and Science, the Denver Zoo, Water World, Elitch Gardens and spent time at the pool near our house. We also saw a Rockies game, a Sky Sox game, and a Mammoth Lacrosse Game on the fourth of July. Overall, we had a great summer, and enjoyed every day. I can’t wait to read all about you and learn more about you and your families. I hope you relished your summer days as well. Now grab a pencil, and some paper and start your intro.
