Purposeful Progress Monitoring: Tools and Resources for Assessment

This guide explores the concept of purposeful assessment and progress monitoring, detailing its significance and practical application. It covers when this methodology is utilized and highlights available tools, such as the Pyramid Response to Intervention and AIMSweb system. The district provides several AIMSweb licenses: all K-2 students, grade 3 students with specific scores, and a portion for grades 4-8 across all content areas. Accessing an AIMSweb license involves submitting student information to the designated coordinator. Additionally, we will discuss tracking progress and adjusting techniques effectively.
