  3. What is the CEPD Council? • Established 2009 • Michigan Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE) Affiliate • Membership: 53 CEPD Administrators • Monthly meetings with MDE - Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE)

CEPD Council Initiatives • Michigan CTE Showcase at State Capitol • Statewide Concurrent/Direct Credit Articulation with Post-Secondary Partners • STEM Programming through CTE • Michigan Economic Development Council: Pure Michigan Talent Connect • Inform Council on State and Federal Legislation

  5. MAISA Connection • ISDs/ESAs own CTE in Michigan • CTE is a Model of Shared Services for LEAs • CTE is the Economic Development Pipeline • ISD/LEA Connection with Business and Industry
