  2. One year ago we said we want to... ...contribute to improvement of European higher education how? in general by... ...strengthening involvement of young people in educational policies at the grass-root level and bridging formal and non-formal education

  3. and more specifically we claimed we will: -> Bring Bologna process and concept of lifelong learning closer to young people on the grass-roots level …which means: INFORM -> Contribute to the acknowledgement of non-formal education activities next to and by formal education system ...which means: PROMOTE -> Encourage proactive approach of young people to the organisation of education, encourage them to actively participate in discussing and implementing how they want education to be like ...which means: EMPOWER

AEGEE-STUTTGART! -> Opening conference in Stuttgart "Bologna Process, the chance or obstacle" information sharing, hard questions to the speakers from university, ministry and labour market group workshops, resolutions about what's still bothering us about European education systems discussion between student NGOs and conclusion: we have to get together to fight for their place and role in Bologna Process

  7. Starring... Jan Tolkien! -> "Unlimited@myUniversity" workshop at EBM Gliwice first some information - Bologna Process basics and then - students versus dean and employers... it was a simulation but we realised that building dialogue about recognising education at student organisations is hard and needs time

  8. Starring... AEGEE-MUENSTER! -> Bologna Process Trainign School in Munster Bologna Process and Non-Formal Education from A to Z puuuurely soaked through with information, no more secrets! then - getting ready to action -> creating BP multipliers

  9. Starring... Network Meetings organisers! AEGEE-Porto (and Merche) students seem to be interested about Bologna reforms and Non-formal education opportunities, but they don;t know enough. the solution found in porto: more student's media involvement in the topic, more coverage for educational issues, written by students for students AEGEE-Lublin (and Asia) to deal with main problems in education the participants came to following solutions: more evaluation and feedback within university, more opportunities for students' participation in university life and decision making, more interactive lectures also with students' presentations and more discussions in the classes

  10. Starring... Kadri Kalle and Julia Drews! -> "Education - Action!" workshop at the Spring Agora in Valletta not only passing information and preparing the locals content-wise, but also tailoring Education Action Week to different types and needs of locals - big, small, medium a recipe ready for anyone willing to organise it!

  11. Starring... AEGEE-NIS! -> Bologna Process Best Practices" Conference in Nis serious debate, serious speakers - most known Europe-wide specialists on Bologna Process and Lifelong Learning! and next to them - frank and proactive students sayign what they think! conclusion: there should be more involvement of students in educational policies!

  12. Starring... AEGEE-KYIV! -> Mobility Forum, Kyiv response to the arising need of attracting Ukrainian youth’ attention to their possibilities within academic mobility programs. Another aim - making European students interested in getting higher education in Ukraine! debates, a fair and non-formal discussion about education in university’s park :)

  13. Starring... AEGEE-WARSZAWA! -> mobility action day (warszawa) first local to make EDUN event for local audience only challenging, but possible: a meeting with BP promotor-teacher and international studies fair at the very entrance to the University Area

  14. Starring... Comite Directeur, Astrid and Asia! -> IFISO (meeting of the boards of international student organisations) do all boards of student NGOs know the same about Bologna, Non-formal education and Lifelong learning? Now yes! Do all student NGOs feel something should be done about their role in students' life and place in Bologna Process declaration? Now... Yes!!!

  15. Starring... AEGEE-ZIELONA GORA and IPWG! -> su workshops: zielona gora after brief information part on Bologna and Non-formal education, the participants - almost non-aegee members - worked out 6 requirements for Perfect Education Model(!) to make youth active among these were: senior students being mentors of juniors, integration of students with fever opportunities, introduction of non-formal methods in university

  16. Starring... EDUCATION ACTION WEEK organisers! Tartu, Ivano-Frankivs’k, Valletta, Baku, Stuttgart, Tallinn, Ljubljana, Torun, Moskva, Vilnius, Ganja, Tübingen, Warzsawa, Athina, Alicante, Leuven, Samara, Messina -> huge European information spreading! ...local workshops, cafe discussions, info stands, parties&games, surveys, quizzes, movies and more... all to encourage youth to take education with... action! (results on their way)

  17. Next on the stage... AEGEE-PARIS! with the international seminar “Non Formal Education-Its Impact and Outcome” 27-30 December 2007

  18. And the 'extras' in great cooperation with other student and youth NGOs: -> Non-Formal Education Day at UNESCO in Paris!!! (coordinated by Vicky) 4th of December 2007 -> The book on the Impact of Non-formal Education!!! (coordinated by Veronica) -> Education Action Week vol.2 in Spring (if YOU want it!)
