Munsell Color Chart • Take off your sunglasses. • Select a fresh piece of soil, do not use a mud ball. • Make sure the soil is moist, not wet. • Start on the 10YR color page when using in Kentucky. • When you think you know the color, compare the same value/chroma on the two neighboring hue pages to make sure you are correct.
