  3. Bullies • At school or at home bullies are not tolerated. Well they are not tolerated online either. • If some one is attacking you online make it stop. Tell an adult and log off. You don’t need to read the mean things that someone might write to you. • Most importantly don’t be a bully.

  4. Sharing • Things that are posted online can spread like wild fire. • Once something is online is will always be online you can not just delete it once it is online. • You should not share things like personal information or embarrassing photos. • It is ok to post some pictures. • You should avoid sharing these things: • Address • Phone Number • Passwords • Information about where you are going to be • Anything any adult says you shouldn’t

  5. Filtering • There are many things on the internet that are inappropriate, there may be times that you find these things when you are alone. If you ever get to a site that makes you uncomfortable or that you no is wrong leave the site. • Some things that should be avoided are: • Any nudity • Drug related sites • Swearing • Violence • Anything above your age rating • Anything that a parent, teacher or any adult tells you to avoid.

  6. Strangers • You don’t always know who you are talking to online. Some times people pretend to be some one they are not. Only talk to people online if you know them in person. • You might get hurt or be in danger if you talk to strangers online. • Ask an adult if you are worried about any thing online.

For instance if you post your address everyone in the whole world has your address. That includes that mean kid, strangers, and even bad guys.
