  2. Could, Should, Would Universe of Obligation Facing History and Ourselves Divide a N/B page into three columns. Label each as follows: Could, Should, Would Respond to the following situations by completing each column.

  3. Situation 1 Universe of Obligation Facing History and Ourselves • You and your friends are walking in the park when you hear three high school boys harassing another kid. The kid is visibly frightened. • As they continue to taunt him, what do you do?

  4. Situation 2 Universe of Obligation Facing History and Ourselves • You’re at Disneyland with a couple of friends. As you walk by Space Mountain, you notice three middle school aged kids standing off to the side making rude and racists comments to kids that walk by. • What do you do?

  5. Setting Universe of Obligation Facing History and Ourselves In all the following situations, you are alone, in a deserted area with no one else around. It is possibly at night or early in the morning. In each situation, what do you do?

  6. Situation 3 Universe of Obligation Facing History and Ourselves • It is late on Friday night. While coming home alone from a friend’s house, you hear a scream coming from a dark alley. You hear it more than once, and it sounds as if someone is in deep pain. It sounds as though this person is being or just has been attacked by someone. • What do you do?
