The Asia Pacific Operations Forum (APOPS), held during APRICOT 2006 in Perth, serves as an open space for discussing operational issues of regional significance and exchanging critical information among Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Asia. Participants, including network engineers and operators, restructure their discussions based on previous forums and trends in Internet deployment. This unique forum aims to bridge operational insights across the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring the ongoing collaboration and advancement of Internet technologies.

History • Intended as Asia Pacific equivalent of South Asia SANOG,North American NANOG, European EOF, and African AfNOG • Existed for many years as a mailing list • Now also occupies a slot in the 6 monthly APNIC meeting
