Cacti - waxy stem ( inside ), needles, ribbed surface, and shallow roots. Lithop - soak up water immediately. Golden Barrel - shallow roots, needles, thick waxy covering , NO leaves. Elf owl - fast flyer one of the smallest owls in the world it is only 5 inches long and tall will fight until death Camel - a camel can store water it also can shield it’s eyes and nose from sand storms Fennec fox –it’s ears can to release body heat Desert rain frog-will squeak if in harm and blow up to look bigger than it’s opponent
