Career Exploration Lesson 8: Business Plan Check-In and App Development Activities

In this session, students will check in on their business plans and team projects by raising their hands if they've completed their drafts. Teams will take a new team picture and update their logos in preparation for posting. The agenda includes hearing from mentors about their careers, learning about women's contributions in technology and business, and working on app development. Students will modify their apps or business plans as necessary, prototype at least three functional screens, and send thank-you notes to mentors.

  5. Activity: Work on your app! Now that you’ve completed your business plan, let’s spend some more time working on your app. Does the app you’re creating follow the ideas in your business plan? If not, which should be modified, your app or your business plan?
