  2. Warm-up 8/18/11 • What is symbolism? Give examples of symbols and what they represent.

  3. Warm-up 8/19/11 • Vocab! Predict the meaning of these words: abase, covert, frugal, redress, wheedle

  4. 8/22/11 • Quick write: What do you know is different about Native American Literature?
